At Christmas I go at grandparents' house, in Puglia. There, I make a nativity scene with my

grandmother. We eat a lot of "Panettone", an Italian Christmas cake. Near the nativity scene, we make a

Christmas tree. Under the tree there were a lot of parents. In the night, my parents and I go to Mass. After Mass, we go in the centre because there is a big party. We come back at the house at about 4

a.m. . That is my Christmas day.

At Christmas I wake up very early. I go in the living-room, where there are the presents under the Christmas tree. I open them with my family. So I go to the Christmas Mass with my friends. When it's finished I go home and I have a big meal with my family. I eat the chicken, the lasagne and a tipical Christmas-cake. In the afternoon I go to the cinema with my parents and my friends to see a Christmas movie. Then I come home. At New Year's Eve I wake up very late and I go out with my mum to buy the final things for the meal of the New Year's day. After lunch I like watching the photos taken in the year that is finishing. I spend the rest of the afternoon to get ready for the night. In the night I always go out with my friends. At midnight we do the countdown and we watch the fireworks. I come home very late and I usually sleep with some friends. In the morning of the New Year's Day I help my mum to prepare the lunch. So, I and my family have a very big lunch and we finish it very late. After that, we usually watch a movie or we stay together in the living-room. These are my Christmas holidays!

On the day of Christmas, I wake up very early. I have breakfast and I have a shower. I dress and I go to my grandparents with my dad, my

mum and my brother. We have lunch. My grandmother cooks very well, and I eat so

much. After, I open my present with my brother and my cousin. Sometimes we play board games, for example tombola, and we watch television. After, we say goodbye and

we return home. In the evening we see a Christmas movie.

my relatives : my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin in Lucca. For Christmas, I usually eat lentils after lunch. I play bingo with my family. I usually eat “tortellini”, that is

pasta stuffed with meat in broth for lunch.In the evening I watch TV till 9:30 pm . Then We return at

home.
