Academic Achievement“We have just completed an analysis of Benchmark indicators for the years 1998-2000 for all secondary schools in the region. That analysis shows that Maori student achievement for The Church College of New Zealand is consistently higher than national averages for same decile schools* and compare favourably with averages for all schools.”
“We would be most grateful for your help in identifying those factors, which contribute to that success.”

Government Financial Assistance
The Church College of New Zealand is allocated a sum of money each year by the Government in recognition that tax paying parents, who have children at CCNZ, are not accessing their entitled tax funded high school education. For 2003 the sum allocated is $NZ 1.6 million. Under the direction of the Church Board of Education the allocated funds are not uplifted. (Only strings attached is that it is only offered on a year by year basis, beyond the year no obligations on by party)
The Future
• An even greater emphasis on developing a school culture that is centered on President Hinckley’s nine B’s.
• A continuing emphasis on students furthering their education, thus lifting the socio-economic profile of the L.D.S. Church in New Zealand and placing members in positions of influence, thus helping the growth of the kingdom in New Zealand.
