What is a tag cloud?• A tag cloud is a visual representation for text

data, typically used to depict keyword metadata (tags) on websites, or to visualize free form text.

• 'Tags' are usually single words, and the importance of each tag is shown with font size or color.

• This format is useful for quickly perceiving the most prominent terms and for locating a term alphabetically to determine its relative prominence.

• Instructions: • Share an article that you have recently read• “Wordle” it• Play around with it• Take notes on how you created your wordle

Wordle Exhibition

• Instructions:• Half of the class will stand up.• Those standing up will walk around the

classroom looking at the wordles of students who are sitting down.

• While visiting each student(s) wordle, please comment and ask questions about how they made it.

• Listen to the teacher for further instructions.
