Not only do people with a college degree have a greater variety of careers to choose from, they also make about twice as much money as high school graduates.

make more of your own choices! For many people, the college years are

a time of developing independence. You'll have a lot more control over your college experience than your high school experience: You'll choose more of your classes, choose a major, decide how and when to study, and begin to take on more responsibility in general. You may even move out of your family home for the first time. These are exciting changes - and great practice for life after college!

Public colleges are those that are largely supported by state funds. If you attend a public institution in your own

Community College Cost

An enrollment fee is charged to every student who takes courses for credit.

The current fee charged to state residents is $20 per unit.

A full time student enrolled for 12 units for 2 semesters would currently pay $480 per year in enrollment fees.

Additional Expenses include Books Supplies Housing Food
