• Experience with teaching outdoors• Will be secondary supervisors• All background checked annually• Hired to be awesome

WHY GO AWAY OVERNIGHT?• SHARING NEW EXPERIENCES WITH SCHOOL FRIENDS• CHANCE TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS• INCREASED INDEPENDENCE • UNIQUE LEARNING EXPERIENCE

• Teachers are the PRIMARY supervisors!• Student groups are ALWAYS supervised by an adult.• The “buddy” system is used• Teachers and Outdoor School staff are on 2 way radios

while on site.• 2 way radios are monitored 24 hours per day• 24 hour answering service – 215 542 7974

• 24 hour answering service – 215 542 7974• We meet or exceed all American Camp Association criteria for

facility and program accreditation• All buildings used by students have smoke/CO detectors• ALL Outdoor School staff have annual background checks• School staff are given complete safety and emergency orientation

while on site. • Lockable cabins are located in the center of the campus• OS staff live on site between cabins, FT staff on call 24 hours.• OS staff trained in CPR/First Aid. AED on site.• School and OS staff radios are monitored 24 hours per day• FOOD CONCERNS : Please let teachers know• Facility is regularly patrolled by staff and Horsham Police• Full laundry plus complete supply of bedding/clothing/toiletries on

site if needed• All Terrain Wheelchair available upon request
