Press the power button on the TV. The power signal will turn green when it is on.

Now connect the VGA cable (thick gray cable which is connected on the back of the TV) to your laptop.

Depending on the model of your laptop, the VGA cable connection port can be either on the side or at the back of your laptop.

Now hold the TV remote and point it towards TV power.

Press the “PC” button on the TV remote

A dialogue box displaying “PC” in the top left corner of the screen should appear.

To send data signals from your laptop to TV you have to press (Fn) key and one of the keys from F3 through F8, depending on your laptop model.

If you are using a Dell computer, hold "Fn" key down and press "F8". If you are using a IBM –Lenovo, hold "Fn" key down and press "F7". This allows you to toggle between laptop view, laptop and TV view, and TV only view

If you still don’t see the image from your laptop on the TV screen, restart your computer while the cable is attached to the TV.
