Crusading Heroes: The Gathering

Aim: To explore the complicated relationships and motivations for key crusaders on the First Crusade

The Plan

• A gathering of ex colleagues who attended the First Crusade.• An opportunity to share some

nibbles and to reflect on the events from 1095-1101.• Find out who else is in attendance

– what did they do? Can you remember everyone?• Try not to start any fights with

anyone you might not have liked so much! Possibly not this posh though

Crusade?• Who wrote about me? What did

they say?• Who did I work closely with?• What did I think of other people?

Resources are in the LRC with Mrs Plowman if you want to

borrow any to prepare for tomorrow!
