• University applications hit record high (BBC News 30 Jan 15. More

than 592,000 people have applied so far, up 2% compared with the same point last year)

• Shortage of cyber security skills

• Employers consistently raise concerns about the quality of

the skill-sets of computing graduates

• Collaborative curriculum design and innovative pedagogies;

and transitions for both students and HE staff

cyber security learning and teaching

National Audit Office landscape review on the UK cyber security strategy

Showcase presentations – structure?

• to introduce the projects finding, discuss how the developed materials and

processes could be used widely across UK HEI’s and to develop a network of

academics involved in delivering cyber security programmes.

• London Oct/Nov

• Project completion date 31 August 2015

• Final report including impact evidence 1 February 2016
