• But first … what is the Internet?– Computers around the world, connected to other big,
powerful computers called “servers” and to each other
– “Modems” are devices used to connect computers to these servers
– “The Web” is a collection of systems and software that makes the Internet easy to use.

– What you can say
– What to do when things go wrong

• You should:– Know how to get there
– Know what you are looking for

• You should:– Get help from an adult
