Jim won a weekend for two in Paris. His girlfriend and he went to the airport in a big limousine. They travelled first class and they had champagne on the plane. They stayed in an expensive hotel. The weather was quite hot all weekend. The food and wine were really good. On Saturday morning they went up the Eiffel Tower but the queues were too long. They had coffee by the river. In the afternoon they went to the Louvre Museum. The museum was quite crowded but they thought it was really interesting. On Sunday Jim asked Naomi to marry him and she said yes! It was a wonderful weekend.Sandra won a weekend for two in New Zealand. She was happy because she loves New Zealand. She went with her boyfriend. The hotel was empty because it was a cheap and ugly place. The restaurant was very dirty and the rooms were too small. On Saturday the weather was really bad.

CANTUA AND HIS PACT WITH THE DEVIL

Cantua .. a very important and respected indigenous man in colonial times because, the Spaniards and the natives . that he was a descendent of Rumiahui and so he was thought of as royalty.

On one occasion he received a very interesting offer: to build the atrium of the church of San Francisco. The payment was unbelievable, but one detail worried Cantua: that the only condition was to complete the job in an extremely short time.

Finally, the indigenous man accepted and, although he hired a lot of workers, bringing the stones from the outskirts of hard and slow job. So, the last day Cantua feared for his future, he was so sad and he even offered to give up his soul to the devil if he could help him.

Suddenly, the devil appeared and .. him that he would finish the job that same night in exchange for Cantuas soul for all eternity. Cantua accepted and they made a blood pact. Cantua would give up his soul for all eternity if all the stones that up the atrium were in place before the first rays of the sun.

The night was very, very dark and in a minute, thousands of horrible little demons .. to fill the atrium of the church of San Francisco and as time passed the job was almost completed.

Cantua panic and he decided to do something. While the little demons were very busy, he . one of the stones and he : Whoever puts this stone in its place accepts and recognizes that there is only one god and He is above everyone and everything.

After a few hours all the little demons were exhausted, but the atrium was almost complete. Only one stone was missing. The little demons it but none of them wanted to touch it. Full of curiosity the devil approached and seeing the inscription on the stone he furious because he couldnt touch it, either.

The first rays of the sun .. on the atrium and the pact was destroyed.

Many people that Cantua the stone in a small chapel in the church of Santo Domingo; others say that he placed the stone in the center of the atrium.
