WHAT ARE THE PROBLEMS IN THE DYSTOPIA?

1. The problem in the divergent dystopia is the faction leaders are trying to control peoples minds ,control their life, and not letting them make there own decisions.

2. Another problem is the Jeanine is trying to kill all the divergent people because she believes that human nature is society's biggest threat at a chance for peace.

WHAT CAUSED THE PROBLEMATIC CULTURE STRUCTURE?

1. The factions were created after the great war destroyed the nation to nothing and forced society to separate into specific groups.

WHO WAS THE DYSTOPIAN HERO AND WHAT QUALITIES DOES SHE EMBODY?

Tris is the dystopian hero in this movie because she is a divergent. Her partner 4 is

also a divergent and assist’s her on her mission to stop

Jeanine from killing the abegnation.

HOW DOES THE HERO FUNCTION AS A CURE FOR THE DYSTOPIA?

• Well tris is not a cure for the problem in the dystopia her and 4 escape the dystopia so just a cure to them only.

WHAT FEAR OF OUR OWN CULTURE ARE REFLECTED IN THE TEXT?

1. One fear is that the government is controlling the society and forcing them to conform to a specific way or die.

2. In comparison to the modern society the government is trying to tell us what we can and can’t do and trying to strip our rights.

WHAT IS THE WARNING WE ARE TO RECEIVE ABOUT WHERE OUR CULTURE IS

HEADED?• The warning the we are to

receive is that society needs to have variety, freedom, and rights to choose how you want to live and knowing that people will fight to the death to stand up for it.

WHERE DO YOU SEE THIS PROBLEM IN MY LIFE AND CULTURE?

• I see this problem in my life when it comes to my guns and the right to have them.• I feel like the government is

trying to take the possession of a firearm right away to make it easier to control the general population.

HOW SHOULD OUR CULTURE CHANGE TO AVOID BECOMING THE DYSTOPIAN

CULTURE?• I think our culture needs to

better allocate our resources and do what's best for the entire human race and stop letting 1% of the population control all the money and include more people in power instead of a small select few.

My rationaleIn my presentation I used a circuit profile with blue because divergent looks like it’s in the future and they have cool new technology and I felt it really compliments the movie. I’m trying to add specific details and include picture, videos, and effects so that I can help you better understand what I’m trying to explain. I’m picking specific pictures and clips to compliment the content in the same slide and reference to the overview of the slide. I found it difficult to answer a couple of the questions because this is only one of a three part series and not knowing the ending leaves it open to mystery. I want to explain what is needed to the best of my ability so I summed up the best I could with the information I have. I think it was a great movie and am going to watch the rest of the series. Doing a presentation on just the first one is a challenge for sure. I’m adding transitions to the way the slide changes and the way the words enter the screen to make it more fun for the viewer and to add a little zaz to the presentation. I’m not going to add and timers to automatically change from one slide to the other because I don’t know how fast you can read and don’t want to make it to short but I am making the videos automatically play when the slide changes and the clip pops up.
