So they don't need to selltheir time for more money.

They can work a little lessand enjoy their free time.

Free time (or freedom)makes people happiest.

Happy people don't haveto consume to feel good.

When you buy “eco things”you are just cheating yourself.

Because you are still buyingjust like before.

But you are not doing thedownshifting at all.

Simple living is notlike poverty.

Because simple living isvoluntary simplicity.

And povertyis not a choice.
