• The dialogue of ‘ a goodbye would have been nice’ suggests the character is upset.• The mid shot of the lady in her dressing gown on suggests that it is morning. Also the way that the lights are off upstairs suggests its morning. • The age of the character is late 30’s – 40’s• Linking the actions of the man creeping about to her actions and dialogue, it suggests they have just had a one night stand.

•The mis en scene of close up shots of school bags, messy house, toys everywhere, suggests that children live in the house, suggesting that the woman is the mum of the house. • The tight stair way and old fashioned wall paper and wall decoration suggests that she is working class. She is not rich but has enough money for her and her children.

• The close up shot shows she looks a glamorous character, with a lot of money to spend on nice hair, makeup, accessories and clothes, however is sat in a greasy cafe with builders, which suggests it may be an act.•Her appearance comes across as un approachable to women as she looks threatening with her heavy makeup and by dressing up so much during the day could suggest she loves herself and is snobby.

• The dialogue of ‘How’s my favourite prostitute’ tells the audience where she gets all the money to look that good from and that she is just acting up to her reputation or job.•The way that the man is dressed in a suit and tie, sitting in a leather chair at a desk, suggests that he is a business man. However the office is small, dirty and very untidy which suggests its not a big business, as he cant afford a big office or a secretary to keep it tidy. • The way that there is only two sources of light, and a shadow on his face suggests that he is a dark, villainous character.

• The close up shot of her side profile shows the distress on her face, that it is an act and she is uncomfortable in it. The dialogue of ‘who’s my least favourite person’ supports this. • Also the back that the builders in the background are looking at her shows her character and lack of respect from men.

• The continuous edit in close up gives us more time, and helps us realise he is a villain and enjoys being one. We can see this from his smirk and facial expressions.

• The way that the camera has focused on the character and made the objects at the front out of focus, lets the audience feel like they are spying on the event, which makes them feel involved.
