Overall strategy (1)
Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA), IFAD has supported several thematic networks (communities of practice) related to specific rural development themes, such as: Agricultural water management (IMAWESA), Rural finance (KMP), Market access (SCAPEMA), Monitoring and evaluation (SMIP), gender mainstreaming and land tenure.
It is envisaged that this trend will continue as new thematic gaps are identified.
