Technology and Readiness Chart

The purpose of the Texas Teacher STaR Chart is to assist all classroom teachers in assessing their personal needs and setting professional goals for the use of technology in the classroom to support student achievement.

If your district receives Title I, D funding, teachers are required to complete the Teacher STaR Chart.

Why do I need to fill out a STaR Chart?

Self-Assessment will be made in 4 key technology areas:– Teaching and Learning– Educator Preparation and Development– Leadership, Administration and

Instructional Support– Infrastructure for technology

All Teachers, Skills Specialists, Testing Coordinators, Librarians, SpEd,

Counselors, Assist. Principals, and the School Principal needs to complete the

STaR Chart. (any certified professional who works with

students)

subject you are teaching!

complete your STaR Chart
