DESCRIPTION

The Edplan system has a range of informative report options for detailed analysis of students' performance. Training presentation this week is designed to show teachers how to create reports and analyze assessment information. In light of this clear and comprehensive picture, they can effectively identify specific learning needs of students and to target key curricular areas.

Review/ Reteach Enrichment for a Test:

REPORT TYPE: Snapshot of student performance [Met or Below Expectations]

by each obj.

GO TO: Student Tracking > Select Class > right-click assessment >

‘Reteach/Enrichment’ > View performance grps. & questions

> Resources/Activities->for Math/Sci only.

Must make selection for each area [except where ‘optional’ indicated]

Reload blue arrows to populate options

‘Select View’ > select as many reports as needed

Student Score Listing By Student:

REPORT TYPE: % of items answered correctly by student + raw & actual

scores. Quick view of students listed alphabetically & standards met

GO TO: Assessment Reports Folder > Teacher Level Reports by

Class > Student Score Listing By Student

Summary-Objective Mastery Summary By Class

REPORT TYPE: Objectives assessed on test; # of q’s aligned + avg. # of correct

responses for q’s [A view of % of students who mastered each obj.]

GO TO: Assessment Reports Folder > Teacher Level Reports

by Class > Summary-Objective Mastery Summary

Item Answer Distribution - Analysis by Class

REPORT TYPE: Breakdown for each question by obj. + answer distribution >

Which q.’s answered correctly/incorrectly by majority? Which are students not

mastering?

GO TO: Assessment Reports Folder > Teacher Level Reports by Class

>Item Answer Distribution Analysis by Category

Objective Mastery - By Class By Student [table]

REPORT TYPE: Lists of objectives tested incl. # of q.’s & mastery threshold for

each. Overall & individual mastery indicated with 100—non-mastery with 0

GO TO: Assessment Reports Folder > Teacher Level Reports

by Class > Multi-Test Table-Objective Mastery By Class by

Student

Item Analysis By Class By Student

REPORT TYPE: Lists objective measured for each item, % who answered each

item correctly Incl. individual performance [blank=incorrect; -1 =double bubble,

no resp., inc. erasure; 1-4 =A-D]

GO TO: Assessment Reports Folder > Teacher Level Reports

by Class > Table-Item Analysis by Class by Student

Objective Performance Grouping by Test by Class

REPORT TYPE: Stu. performance on each obj. broken down into 3 groups

based on % correct [similar to re-teach/enrichment screen] for instructional

decision making for re-teaching or enrichment (incl. # of q.’s/obj. & instructional

rscs.]

REPORT TYPE: View performance of multiple classes re: stu. obj. mastery on

as’mt. in order to compare performance of among classes

> Table-Obj. Mastery by Teacher by Class-Accountability

Item Analysis by Teacher By Class

REPORT TYPE: Obj. for each item tested & % mastery for each of teacher’s

classes. Avg # & % correct overall & individually displayed also.

GO TO: Assessment Reports > Teacher Level Reports By

Class > Table-Item Analysis by Teacher by Class-

Objective Mastery Student Report By Student

REPORT TYPE: Individual student report displaying q.’s answered correctly,

mastery requirement, student’s response & % mastery for each obj. on test

GO TO: Assessment Reports > Teacher Level Reports By

Student > Objective Mastery Student Report- by Student

Teacher-Student Score Listing by Score

REPORT TYPE: Similar to Score Listing By Student--% of items answered

correctly by student + raw & actual scores. Quick view of students & standards

met organized by score, highest to lowest.

GO TO: Assessment Reports > Tutoring Reports

by Class > Student Score Listing-By Student

Student Tutoring Report

REPORT TYPE: Displays item analysis individually for each student. Review with

students. (+) is correct. Incorrect answer indicated by 1-5 for A-E. -1 is

incomplete erasure/no response.

GO TO: Assessment Reports > Tutoring Reports
