The Role of Assessment

1) Read the Characteristics

2) Write down 3 thoughts (each on a separate piece of paper) you have about the role of assessment through the lens of High Performing Schools, Crumple each paper into a ball.

3) When you hear Dr. Malone yell SNOWBALL FIGHT you may begin to pummel your classmates with your snow balls and return fire with those they throw at you until you hear CEASEFIRE.

4) Pick up all the snowballs near you until the floor is clean and group in triads for discussion.

5) In your triad discuss each statement in your group and select 3 statements that resonate with your group to share with the whole class.
