No email accounts are required.

Teachers can monitor student blogs within the classroom.

1. Go to http://kidblog.org/home/

2. Click on “Create a class”

2. Fill out info. Under “Display name”, write your name (ex. Mrs. Leslie). Fill out boxes (ex. under “Class name” put, “Mrs. Leslie Class A”)

3. Click on “Click to create a class”

Conclusion

● Students’ motivation has increased since I started using blogging in the classroom.

● Students’ writing and speaking skills have improved.● Blogging has allowed students to collaborate and learn from each

other.● Students are excited to work on our next project.● Students met my objective, because they apply two of the 21st

century skills - collaboration with their peers by reflecting on each other work in their blog page, and articulating their thoughts and ideas in a variety of forms using oral and written skills.

● I am going to share this project with my department and encourage my colleagues to give it a try as a way to reach our school department goal for this year which is to improve students’ pronunciation.
