Click New to create a new document from Google docs

Google docs is equivalent to Word



Click Blank to start new document



Give a title to your document



Click Document 1 to rename the title



Click dropdown to change Text Styles



Click dropdown to change Font Styles

Click Search to select image from the web



Type in search word



Select image and click

Click dropdown key to highlight and color text

To upload an entire folder, go to New, click on Folder Upload and select from your list of folders to

To upload a File, go to New, click on File Upload, select a

Double-click the file and it will open up to a not

editable file



Do a right-click, open file with Google docs and it will open

to an editable file



To send the edited file as attachment,

go to File and hover to

Email as attachment



Select Microsoft Word or

PDF



Supply the email address of the

recipient



Give the Subject a name

To look at the revision history, open a document, go to file

and hover to Revision History



Click on a revision to restore on document



To create a Folder, go to New and click on Folder



Give a name to the new Folder



Drag the files on the respective Folders



You can search your files using the search box



Go to New and create Google Slides



Select different slide formats from the

dropdown

To set up a master font for a title for the whole presentation, go to slides and navigate to the edit master slides.



Click on the Title and select a font style



Click on the lower hierarchical and select the font style

To insert a Video, Click Insert



Go to Youtube and search for a video of your choice. Copy the URL



Paste the URL on the space



Click on the arrow and automatically the video will play

Go to Insert, choose an image to upload

Use the Crop to resize the image



Select Image Options to Re-colour the image



To do a Research, go to tools



Select from Everything, Images, Videos, Scholar, Quotes, etc.



Write your topic to research on the

box, results will be listed from all

categories



You can preview on the choice

of the result



Click on the Insert Link



Click on the hyperlink to view the whole topic



You can change or remove the research

topic



To apply color on text, highlight the text and

click text color



To share a file to a non Google User, make a right-click on your document and

select share



Click on the anyone with the link can view and hover to anyone with

the link can edit or anyone with the link can view



Remember to put the link



Put the email address



Select choices: edit, view or comment



Click Done



Another way to share document to a non-

google user is to click Advanced



Click Change



To maintain security on your document, choose

Anyone with the link



Click Save



Copy the Link



The link can be sent thru Google+, G-mail, FB, & Twitter



Include the email address



Can Add a Message



Click Send
