::: Interaction vs. Interface Design :::
what does it do? [ interaction design ]what does it look like? [ interface design ]
lets start with [ interaction design ]1. how do you make a cow? what comprises a cow?does it have 2 legs or four
legs (or three)? Is it a quadruped or a biped or maybe a tri-ped?2. what about some horns - or not?a set of teats - then it wouldn't be a cow?3. what functionality does it have? movement - eg: walk, run, talks eg: moos
"cow noise", grunts, multilingual?eats: grass, chocolate? chews its cud...4. sits down just before it rains, walks towards the nearest shed around dusk,
you can milk it? other...what user feedback does it give? milk?
[interface design ]what form does the cow take? ie: how do we build the cow so it represents theaction (remember we've never seen a cow before...)What makes a cow a cow? it could look like a dog? or a cat? or any otherquadruped…what colour(s)spots or not spots?
