For this year’s English week we propose the

school uses the theme: love; because love has

many different meanings. Our students can learn

the good values that part from love like, for

example, respect and honesty. Giving them some

activities that will inspire them.

Grade level: 3 rd to 6th grade

Number of students: 192

Special necessities and/or abilities: some of them have skin problems that need to be treated in a special way, others have hypoglycemia and diabetes.

Purpose of your proposal : To teach the kids to respect, cherish and love each other as God will always love them, having learned the values that contain love.. As they, at the same time, learn English in both a literary way and a grammar way.

How will proposal impact these students and why? Love is something that impacts us day by day. It is important we teach the students at their early age the values that contain love because it is those values that help us grow a better person and they will remain in their minds as they apply them in their lives. We expect the students to be very motivated with our proposal because, no matter what the age, we all love love.

Goal: we want to capture the attention of the student

when we instruct them about love and other values so

they can maintain our teachings forever in their minds

and hopefully put them to good use.

Objective : for this, we will create more fun ways by

doing activities and dynamics instead of going for your

normal class. That way they will have fun and pay

attention. Fun is the key that unlocks the enthusiasm and

dedication in a child’s mind.

• Gigantic Crossword puzzles : for the improvement in their writing and

grammar.

• Spelling bee’s daily: for improvement in their pronunciation.

• Alphabet Soups: to maintain their minds active, improve on their speed

, and also they will recognize the values by their own trying to find them in

the soup.

All these three can be turned into competitions too, so they can be motivated

by prizes.

• Presentation of Jesus’ love , God’s love: using the praying time in the

morning we can have the kids do something small yet creative with the song

: “Love by Jason Ma ft.Bruno Mars” and say their regular prayers (The Our

Father and Hail Mary). This way we can demonstrate love also in religion’s

point of view, reminding the students that the most important love of all is

that of God.

Monday: presentation of Jesus love using the praying time in the morning and spelling bee 3rd and 4th grade.

Tuesday: Crossword puzzles and spelling bee

Wednesday: Alphabet soup competition and spelling bee 5th

and 6th grade.

Thursday: Spelling bee’s finale all the winners of each group.

Friday: All winners and cooperative students during the week will be having a water balloon and water pistol fight, with the permission of the director of the school, at the basket ball court.
