apostrophe.

Make an affirmative

contraction with a

pronoun and be ( am,

is, are).

Put together the

pronoun and be (am,

is, are) .

I am = Iam

Take out the first

letter of be (am, is,

are).

Put in an apostrophe.

Im = I’m

Use a contraction

when speaking.

negative contraction is

to put together the

pronoun and be (am,

is, are). Then put not

behind be (am, is, are).

Put together the

She is = Sheis

Take out the first

apostrophe.

Shes = She’s

Put not behind be
