SOCIAL GROUPS Friends:

The social group of friends is shown through Keira and Max as they search through the office headquarters looking for the antidote formula. This enables them to be able to work together as a team more productively.

We got the idea of friendship from the close relationship between Katniss and Gale in the Hunger Games. They are close friends that have a strong relationship which enables them to work together and trust one another.

SOCIAL GROUPS Our idea of having spies/rebels break into a headquarters came from several different spy thriller films such as the Bourne Identity and Divergent. This is where we got the inspiration for Keira wearing minimal makeup and our spies wearing black.

We used dark lighting for our thriller and black and white for our flash back as we had inspiration from films such as seven and face off. This is the most typical lighting for a thriller as it adds mystery and tension.

SOCIAL GROUPS We showed sibling in our thriller because we wanted to provide Max with a touching reason behind why he was so desperate to find the cure. We took our inspiration for these characters from films and characters like Cassie and Sam in the Fifth Wave, as wells as Rachel and Robbie in War of the Worlds. We wanted our characters relationships to be similar to this as it makes the character more likeable and provides sympathy for them from the audience.

SOCIAL GROUPS We dressed Rosie in more childlike clothes to emphasises her innocence and to create more sympathy for her and hatred towards Jennifer. We dressed Max in more casual clothes as it makes it more natural.

We also got inspiration for putting the flashback in black and white from Casino Royale as it makes it look faded and a distant memory.

SOCIAL GROUPS We took inspiration for having a female antagonist that was power hungry and evil from Jeanine Matthews in Divergent. We also took inspiration for a manipulative character from Amy Dunne in Gone Girl. Jeanine is heavily body guarded and has a lot of strong men to do her dirty work for her, this is where we got the idea for a body guard. Amy Dunne is very manipulative and enjoys seeing people in pain much like we wanted Jennifer to be.

Our inspiration for the clothing of Jennifer also came from Jeanine as she is also a government official. We dressed Jennifer in suits like Jeanine as it is quite a formal job and makes the audience question whether she is really the antagonist.

SOCIAL GROUPS We based our body guards clothes off of villains in the film Casino Royale. The character is dressed in a formal suit making him look professional and strong, making the audience believe this man is a serious man that is capable of hurting someone.
