I have also found that from doing my preliminary task that I have learnt how to position my masthead so that you take full advantage of the page, also so that it looks like other magazines and keeps to media conventions. Also, I found that my preliminary task masthead looked unprofessional, uncreative and just didn’t stick to media conventions, and it just didn’t make the magazine itself stand out or send the right message to my target audience as for my final product I have used so that my target audience knew even before even looking at the whole magazine, that it was a music magazine which has a unique selling point that it is to inspire their target audience.
