Experimenting With Fonts

• This Font is called Impact and is bold and eye-catching and could be used to represent the Rock aspect of my magazine.

• This Font is called Magneto and I think it looks like vintage Rock and Roll writing, like on an American diner or old rock album. This could be used in the word ‘Rock’ of my magazine.

• This font is called Broadway and I think this connotes the film aspect of my magazine as it is the sort of font that would have been used on classic film posters and theatres. This fits in well with my magazine as it is to do with older styles of music and film as well as new. It also looks quite professional and upmarket, which is another feature of my magazine I want to present. I can use this font in the word ‘Rolling’ in my masthead as this font and one of the fore-mentioned ones would contrast but compliment each other quite well.
