Aquatic Plants• Some aquatic plants float with their roots
hanging down in the water. These are called floating plants.
• Some aquatic plants grow completely under water and these are called submerged plants.
• Some aquatic plants have some parts growing in water and some parts above the water surface. These are called partially submerged plants.

A seashore consists of rocky ledges with pools of salty water, pebbles and other non-living things such as air and sunlight.
The plants and animals interact with one other and with their habitat (the non-living surroundings).
Depending on its situation, a rocky shore may be in an exposed or sheltered area.
