Preposiciones sencillas de lugar, tiempo, movimiento

y dirección.AT: aIN: aFROM: DesdeTO: a, hastaINTO: dentro de

Comenzaremos con el uso de la preposición AT que la utilizaremos para expresar que ya hemos arribado a un lugar. En cambio si el lugar al que se ha llegado se trata de países y ciudades emplearemos la preposición IN. Cabe destacar que para decir llegar “a casa” no pondremos ninguna preposición antes de la palabra HOME.

He arrived in Mexico.Él arribó a México.

They arrived in Paris.Ellos arribaron a París.

She arrives at the museum.Ella llega al museo.

You arrive at the Zoo.Tú llegas al zoológico.

I arrived home.Yo llegué a casa.

Para indicar un punto de partida o el lugar de origen emplearemos la preposición FROM, por ejemplo:

He is from Brazil.Él es de Brasil.

She came from England.Ella vino desde Alemania.

I am from Spain.Yo soy de España.

Si lo que deseamos es expresar que nos dirigimos hacia un lugar determinado, en ese caso utilizamos la preposición TO, por ejemplo:

He goes to the museum.Él va al museo.

I went to the cinema.Yo fui al cine.

We go to the beach.Nosotros vamos a la playa.

They went to Madrid.Ellos fueron a Madrid.

Y finalmente para indicar el ingreso a un lugar usaremos la preposición INTO, por ejemplo:

She went into her house.Ella entró en su casa.

They went into the bus.Ellos entraron en el autobus.

I come into my house.Yo entré en mi casa.
