New Student Orientation (NSO)● Sunday, August 31- Monday, September 8
o First 5 days are designed specially for int’l students● By participating in NSO, you will experience smooth

Q: Do I have to mail all documents?
A: Official transcript must be sent via postal mail. Other documents such as Health History Form can be scanned and emailed to address specified on forms. More info about sending official transcripts
Q: How do I get from the airport to PLU?
A: Seattle Tacoma International Airport is about 40 minutes by car to PLU Campus!Arrange a personal airport-pick up service or shuttle in advance!
Q: Can I move in earlier than August 31?
We ask students with on-campus housing to move in on either Sunday, August 31 or Monday, September 1st. If you have difficulty moving in on these days, please email [email protected] explaning your particulat situation!
Q: What’s the weather like?
A: In the puget sound region of Washington state, you can experience four seasons. We only get several days of really hot weather or snow. You will need variety of clothing and shoes. It will be handy to have a waterproof jacket with a hood and a pair of waterproof shoes/boots. People here also tend to dress in layers and very casual on campus.
Q: Does my on-campus room comes w/ linens?
A: Your room will be furnished with a bed, a mattress, a desk and shelvings but otherwise empty! Please arrange your own linens including bedding sheets, comforters, pillows, towels, etc… Linens and BeddingsSuggested Items to Bring For Your Room
Q: Can I ship items to my on-campus address?
A: Please alert Mail Services in advance! Otherwise, your items will be shipped back to the sender! To learn more, visit this page.
