TiredThis story has followed me for my entire

life. Whenever I say I am tired to one of my family

members they say, ‘you have been tired your whole life,

you should be use to it by now.’ Well, I guess I should.

The story goes that one day we were in Millbrook,

Alabama cleaning up my grandmother’s yard. Now, her

backyard is about three acres and for a 2 year old that is

huge. So, as everyone is cleaning I am sitting down under

the back porch, when my Aunt Gloria comes up and says

‘get your lazy bottom up and help.’ I did, I picked up one

piece of paper that was right by the garbage and threw it

away and sat back down. My aunt come back and said

‘that is not helping’ and I replied ‘I so tired.’ From that

my aunt burst out laughing and walked away. To this day

I am labeled as the lazy child of the family and no one

asks me to do any type of work, because ‘I am so tired.’
