SAP HANA SAP HANA is an application that uses in-

The in-memory computing engine allows HANA to process data stored in RAM as opposed to reading it from a disk.

This allows the application to provide instantaneous results from customer transactions and data analyses.

query processing environment which supports relational as well as graphical and text data within same system. It provides features that support significant processing speed, handle huge data sizes and text mining capabilities. Complex calculations on data are not carried out in the application layer, but are moved to the database.
