HOW OLD WERE THE PEOPLE WHO TOOK THE TEST?

With these results I can see that nearly 50% of the people that answered the questionnaire where over 40.

GENDER?

I can also see that 70% of the people that answered were male, which is what I would say that target audience for this music video would be.

GENRE OF CHOICE?

From these results I can also see that there wasn’t anyone who listened to grime music. Although a lot of the people were male, as seen before, a lot of them are 40+ and nearly all are 31+. This is outside of the target audience that I would personally pick for the genre and song I have chosen. Therefore these results are not surprising to see.

HAVE YOU HEARD OF GRIME MUSIC?

With these results I was a bit more surprised at what I received. Due to the fact that no one prefers it and that the majority of people who answered were over the age of 31, I did not expect many of them to have heard of grime music. However 60% said they had. This shows that there is a possibility that I should change the target audience age range to something like 35 years old as the max.

WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT TO SEE IN A GRIME MUSIC VIDEO?

There were some results saying they didn’t know and then some which got the characteristics of a grim music video correct. By saying that they would expect casual and sports branded clothes and council estates, they have suggested some of the characteristics that would often be seen.

WHICH ARTIST DO YOU KNOW?These final results also slightly surprised me. This is because all of the artists I had named had several votes at least. Despite a few people not knowing what grime is and everyone preferring another genre of music, there were a lot of checks for Dizzee Rascal( and older artist at the age of 31) and Tempa T.
