New Jersey's History -First inhabited by the Lenape Native Americans about 10 millennia ago -Taken over later by the English in 1664 -As one of the 13 colonies, they played a role in the American revolution. -They also took a role in the Cold war and World War II

New Jersey's is an industrial state with mills and other industries including silk, firearms,textiles, and railroad

locomotive industries.

-The big apples neighbor, with a population reaching over 8 million New Jersey is a must

visit for anyone!

- With beautiful beaches, amazing mountain views,and small college towns full of

rich heritage, New Jersey is a must visit place for family

vacations or spur of the moment road trips!

If you are a history buff New Jersey is a great place to visit with its rich history dating back further then 1524 there are many

great locations to check off your list. -The Absecon Lighthouse built in 1857, it is 171 feet tall making it New Jerseys tallest

lighthouse

-As Trenton's oldest surviving homestead the 1719 William Trent House Museum is a great visit

Although New Jersey may not be a large state there is a big difference in Climate from Cape May in the South and the

mountains in NorthWest New Jersey. The weather in the winter can be more than ten degrees Fahrenheit cooler in the extreme

north then the extreme south. The snowfall averages forty to fifty inches in the northern part of New Jersey when in south Jersey is

averages of only ten to fifteen inches.

New Jersey is an amazing place to visit with an enormous population,beautiful landmarks, and expansive sights to see.There is an abundance

of things to do for everyone in the family. From night life to beaches,state parks and historical monuments,beaches,shopping,and great food New Jersey has so much to offer every one of

its visitors.
