Our team project

Mission Statement:“We are Cradle to Cradle. A group of innovative college students who guide younger generations into a sustainable way of thinking and behaving in hopes to positively impact our local community.”

We chose the Recycling Poster Contest: hands on project for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Normandin Middle School.

Summing it up

November 7th posters were collected at Normandin Middle School.

November 14th AHA! Night community participants voted on top 3 posters.

Prizes were showcased at AHA! Night.

December 5th we will attend the Honor Roll breakfast at Normandin Middle School to acknowledge our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Data collected throughout project:

62 completed posters, 62 pre & post surveys, 30 AHA! night votes.

Collected prizes with help from:

Green Rangers, Target, Shaw's.

Spread awareness to Normandin students, community partners, AHA! night participants, along with ourselves.

We were able to obtain quantitative data regarding our impact on the students of Normandin Middle School.

Conclusion

With the collaboration of our projects mission and goals, our accomplishments, teamwork 

skills, and success in meeting the project criteria, Cradle-to-Cradle impacted the New

Bedford community by successfully completing a recycling poster contest at the Normandin

Middle School.
