More about Grading…

Weekly participation grade is averaged into the Classwork portion of your grade. You will begin the week with a 100.Attendance, Do No assignments, tardiness, and in-class behavior (talking, inappropriate cell phone usage, lack of participation, etc.) are included in the classwork average that is weighted 30% of the overall average. Each in-class behavior violation results in 10 points off of the weekly average. If you are on time, complete the Do Now, are not disruptive in class, and stay on task, you keep the 100. It is important that you realize how attendance and appropriate behavior can tremendously lower your grade.
