The white was a definite choice for the ‘Stay’ part of the band name as it is an easy colour to compliment and it helps the logo to stand out, as it is quite bright on the dull grey background. The colouring choices were all for the word ‘Home’. We needed a colour that was not too bright or dark, did not fade into the artwork and complimented the colouring of the picture. We decided against black as the colour of ‘home’ as it was much darker than the rest of the image and stood out too much. These two colours were decided against as they were much too bright and didn’t fit with the genre.

Grey was the colour that fit the most as it was dark like the image, but not too dark that it stood out. This is the earlier version of the grey that we used.
