POLISH STUDENTS PRESENT :

SCHOOL IN PIEKOSZOW

In our school we have kindergarten, primary school and middle school. We have very

qualified teaching staff. This year school was renewed and painted with beautiful new

colorous, orange and beige. We have best football club, Astra Piekoszow.

The school is a public institution

where approximately 1000

students receive their education

and about 70 teachers are

employed. The children are aged

3-5 at kindergarten, 6-13 at

primary and 13-16 at secondary

level.

Świętokszyskie Provence is one of the sixteen Polish provinces, creared in 1999. It occupies an

area of 11.710 and its population is estimated at 1.273.054. Kielce is the capital of the

provience and 205.445 people live here. Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship is rich in deposits of

building materials such as marble and sadstone.

OUR TOWN AND REGION

Protected areas in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship include one National Park and nine

Landscape Parks. These are some. Świętokrzyski National Park,

Chęciny-Kielce Landscape Park,

Cisów-Orłowiny Landscape Park,

Jeleniowska Landscape Park.

The most of sulfur mined in Poland as well as calcium-megnesium fertilizers come. A

metallurgical, machine and preciesion industry also plays a significant role in the voivodeship. It

is the place where steel and metallurgical products are produced. . There is one of the best

football club in Poland, Korona Kielce. We have a beautiful church.
