Sculptor.

• He was a SURREALIST artist. His work had an imaginary and dreamlike quality.

• Most famous for, his sculptures of people took a very interesting way to viewing the human form.

phase when started making his statues of people elongated and stretched out. He would work endlessly seeing how skinny and tall he could

create these sculpture people!

our project:1) I want you to think of a pose of a person doing something.

our project2) Using wire, we are going to create like a “stick person” of that pose

This is called an ARMATURE

our project3) Next, by adding aluminum foil to the armature we can create those skinny bodies like Giacometti
