Page 6: Globalization and Education

WELL,

TO MANAGE THEIR MARKETS IN ALL PARTS OF THE WORLD...

COKE HAD TO FOLLOW THE CULTURE OF THAT PART...

AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHY WE CALL COKE..

A GLOBAL BRAND

Page 7: Globalization and Education

TO CATCH THE MARKET OF BANGLADESH, COKE HAD TO..

- LEARN OUR SOCIETY, CULTURE AND TREND..

AT THE SAME TIME, WE, THE BANGLADESHIS...

- LEARNED TO ADOPT AN ELEMENT OF THE AMERICAN CULTURE..

- HIRE BANGLADESHI EMPLOYEES

- LEARNED TO UPGRADE OUR QUALIFICATIONS TO WORK IN AN AMERICAN COMPANY...

Page 8: Globalization and Education

So, to sum up...

To catch the current trend of the global job market.. Our candidates are being bound to acquire the qualification/ skills/ abilities which are accepted globally..

Technological literacy could be one of the most vital qualifications among them...

Multinational companies are dominating the world market, and they want able employees to fuel their business.

Page 9: Globalization and Education

And moreover...

After apprenticeship, every human is bound to find a way for financial sufficiency...

And there are 2 ways to do so:

1. To serve the Dominating Organizations

And 2. Entrepreneurship

But whichever way does the candidate take, s/he has to have those common skill to survive in a world where there are no boundaries...

Page 10: Globalization and Education

Primary Concept:

GLOBALIZATION

ONE WORLD

WILL ACT LIKE A SINGLE SOCIETY

Page 12: Globalization and Education

“Common process of International Integration”

Globalization means:

Human activity

World view product

culture

interchange

Page 13: Globalization and Education

The word "globalization" has been used by economists since 1981.

The concepts did not permeate popular consciousness until the later half of the 1990s.

The earliest concepts and predictions of globalization were penned by an American entrepreneur-turned-minister Charles Tazz Russell who first coined the term 'corporate giants' in 1897.

Does such UNIFIED kind of Earth need HUMANS with some COMMON ABILITIES AND SKILLS? Do we need to develop a common system?

If we develop a GLOBAL EDUCATION SYSTEM...

Can we call the products of the system...

A simple verification if we have truly developed or not...

Case 2GRE: Graduate Record Examination

Created and administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS) in 1949

ETS has taken 20 long Years to take the decision to change the system in 2011 after a through research at national level...

Page 42: Globalization and Education

The Graduate Record Examination is capable of verifying the candidate's:

1. Verbal Abilities

2. Mathematical Abilities

3. Analytical Abilities

Judging by the GRE score, a huge number of Universities and Organizations round the world accept and recruit candidates from all over the planet. Relying on the GRE score, institutions can recruit candidates in every discipline.

Which is a clear indication that, the evaluation system of GRE is verified and standardized in such a way that can show a clear picture of all the cognitive domains of the candidate.

Page 43: Globalization and Education

Statistics show, that Bangladesh lacks a huge number of DOCTORS in the remote suburban and rural areas. (There is only ONE doctor for per 500 people, Prothom Alo)So, initiatives should be taken to produce some qualified doctors...

But, how was the IDEA, to enroll students in MEDICAL SCHOOLS, measuring by the obtained grades in examinations like HSC which merely have gone through:

1.Reliability tests2.Standardization phases

? ? ?

Page 44: Globalization and Education

What Perspective have we thought into...?How many years of research have we gone through...?

To change our education system to GRADING SYSTEM?

Page 45: Globalization and Education

National educational degrees are being acquired through Wiki spaces blog...in abroad..

Are we actually capable of competition in the global race with a fixed scale by the Western policy-makers?

Page 46: Globalization and Education

These are very small proofs that ...

The target of the UNIFIED Global Education is not being achieved in our country...

Rather we are only adopting the WESTERNIZED CULTURAL ELEMENTS ONLY...

AREN’T WE...???

Page 47: Globalization and Education

We are truly eager to use GLOBALIZATION to serve its own Educational Objectives and build up a generation who can be called GLOBAL CITIZENS .

Page 48: Globalization and Education

But.. Things aren’t actually being blown out..

If our target was to build up citizens who will represent the country in front of the world..we surely have achieved it. Our candidates are bringing prizes from International competitions like IMO and HSBC YEC...

May be slow..but we are growing..
