A very Weird Sport!! Reading. 5 minutes.
Hi there Teens Today,I’ve seen some very weird sports, but have you ever heard of speed eating? Well, I just saw a show about it and I think it is totally gross. How can they call this a sport? A Japanese guy, Takeru Kobayashi, has won six hot-dog eating competitions. In the last one he ate fifty-three hot dos in twelve minutes. Imagine! He’s probably eaten thousands of hot dogs in these competitions, and he isn’t even fat! Another competitor, sonya Thomas –she’s skinny, too- once ate sixty five hard-boiled eggs in six and a half minutes! This is the unhealthiest activity I can imagine. And these people win money for eating enormous amounts of food in a short time. Why doesn’t someone stop these competitions before people get hurt?Yours disgustedly,Stacey
