Test ShotsFor my test shots, I have taken a series of pictures which resembled the costumes which ‘Jamie’ the lead singer of the band Mirage will be wearing when he is appearing on my front cover and double page spread of my magazine Rewind.

The costumes include a black deep v-neck top, skinny jeans, a sleeveless denim jacket and a pair of aviator sunglasses. This resembles him as quite hip and modern but also keeping with the 90’s retro style with the aviator sunglasses made popular through the late 1980s film Top Gun and the denim jacket made famous by the punk movement.

The image appearing on the front will only show a head and shoulders shot, so will include the top half of the denim jacket and the black V-neck. But the double page spread includes a full body shot so all will be shown.

An image appearing on the contents page, will appear of a blonde lady, a soul singer. She will wear long black clothes to show the sophisticated and emotional side to music. The style and music icon for this female artist is someone similar to Adele.

She will wear a long black top, with long sleeves. Also a long pair of leggings.

The setting I will use for my photos will be a white wooden wall, which will be edited on the front cover but in the double page spread may end up not being edited, or in another setting. One with a wooden wall.

The wooden wall resembles a rural state, which symbolises the type of music which the artist is singing for. The white background is quite neutral so you focus mainly on the artist instead of the background image. This is because the artist is the most important
