Technology! - You either love it or hate it . . . butTime managementStudent motivationStudent engagementall require that we take it on.

There seem to be 3 types of people . . . You either: Enjoy it already work with it and want to expand and explore possibilitiesHate it and are leaving the profession because of the pressureSomewhere in between, technically ok, but without knowledge to run further.

So . . . What can you do? ~ What tools do we use?Moodle ~ Blackboard ~ & others.Built in technology that can be extended more than you think. (we will look at that!)

Google is one platform that can really enhance - and it’s easy to use. (we’ll check this out too!)

The application areas

Visual: still and moving images . . . Use them for:DemonstrationsVisual aids and aide-memoiresInfo-graphics to explain how grammar worksMovies to show how to do a quiz, or build a sentence

Audio . . . use it for:Recording voices and conversationsDemonstrating & guiding pronunciationMonitoring students’ speaking progressGiving instructions - homework, quizzes etc.
