Basic requirements for University• 6 Grade 12 University or Mixed Level Courses (average of your TOP 6)• ENG4U – Grade 12 English

Basic requirements for College• OSSD and specific program requirements

Additional Requirements• Pre-requisites are courses required for entry into a university or college

program • Supplementary applications can include things like portfolios, interviews,

essays• Recommended courses are not required for admissions but are

recommended that you take them as chances are you will be taking these courses in your first year

Admissions StatisticsBased on last year…

• more than 160,000 students applied to College in Ontario!

• more than 380,000 students applied to Universities in Ontario! Under 68,000 students were offered admissions.

• University of Toronto had over 45,500 applicants and was the most applied to school in Ontario. Only 9,195 were admitted to an undergraduate degree.

• Ryerson only has 150 spots in their Nursing program and received 2,023 applications.
