Preparing for a swim race
Stretch before your race, so you don’t get a cramp.
Make sure your goggles and cap are on comfortably. You do this so they
don’t fall off when you dive in.
Nicely ask the referee to see if you are in the correct heat and
lane.
Step up onto the block when it’s your turn.
Listen for the referee to say,
“take your mark.”
Dive in when the horns blows, and have fun when you are racing.
