Around this age your child will begin to explore the world around them by touching, tasting, looking and listening. They will begin to develop their own initiative but will want you around to feel safe. They may become curious and easily distracted and their language skills will start to develop.

Understand simple familiar words.-

Everything is new and interesting to one-year-olds. They enthusiastically use their five senses to actively explore the world around them. They find in learning new words. Parents have to teach them some basic words, such as: family members, greeting. Some activities that parents can do to achieve this purpose are:

Babbles as if speaking – says mama, dada.-

Parents should encourage children to try to say some familiar words, such as: mama, dada. Babbles lets children to develop their language skills and at the same time learn new words. For achieving this purpose, parents can use:

Most children learn to communicate to get a need of meet or to establish and maintain interaction with a loved adult.
