Narrative Joel comes home to his daughter late a night, she then goes to bed to wake up to an explosion whilst looking for her dad in an empty house her dad bursts in through a door then looks for something and tells her to stay away from the window, a couple of seconds later a man bursts through the backdoors and joel shoots him dead. The on there way out of the city later on through the intro to the game they head up a dirt path to try and get away from the city they then come across a soldier who saves them from the infected chasing them and call to his commander who then tells him to kill them, the soldier tries to say no and says “but there’s a little girl” but the commander orders him to kill Joel and Sarah he goes to shoot and offloads a couple of rounds us thinking that their ok Tommy Joel’s brother shoots the soldier in head and to there shock Sarah has been shot and as Joel is trying to save her she dies due to fatal gun wounds.
