• Full inclusion means that all students, regardless of handicapping condition or severity, will be in a regular classroom/program full time. All services must be taken to the child in that setting.
• Students with any disability should have the feelings of being of
belonging among other students, teachers, and support staff. • Inclusion is being a part of what everyone else is, being welcomed and
embraced as a member who belongs• Since 1975, federal courts have clarified the intent of the law in favor
of the inclusion of students with disabilities in general education (Osborne, 1996; Villa & Thousand, 2000a, 2000b).
• Advocate/ help yourself• Find your study strategy and stick with it• ASK QUESTIONS!
