Topography

Northern India is comprised of low hills, and parts of the Himalayan Mountain Range. The central and south are relatively flat, with portions of rolling plains. India is surrounded by water on the west, south and portions of the east side. The low point is the Indian ocean at 0 feet, and the high point is mount Kanchenjunga at around 25,800 feet. The main river in India is the Ganges.
