Television IndustryTelevision (TV) is a telecommunication medium that is used for transmitting and receiving moving images and sound. Television can transmit images that are monochrome (black-and-white), in colour, or in three dimensions to allow people to watch all their daily television programmes at home on whatever channel you need.

Television providers such as Sky, BT and Freeview work with companies to allow your favourite programmes to appear on your TVs. The more expensive providers such as Sky, tend to have the best layout of channels categorised in genres for themes and ages, etc. When you have Sky TV and you go on your television guide the programmes are sub-categorised into sport, kids, movies, music, documentaries, this makes it easier to find a particular programme to suit you.

PressThe press are known as the mainstream media team of communication. Games Design IndustryThe games industry is growing more and more each day due to the amount of gadgets that are being released all over the world. There’s the Nintendo DS, DSI and plus, there’s the Xbox and PS3/4 games, there’s apps on all the IPhone/IPods/IPads and tablets.

For all of these games to be invented and released they have to go through numerous amounts of processes so the game can be: designed (by fine artists and perfectionists), then manufactured, then advertised and printed for the public to see and eventually released when the game is to the highest ability it can reach for the public to use easily.

On IPhones and other Apple gadgets you can download a series of different games for free, there are games that you can pay for but there are also games that cost no money and are still extremely popular and function well for the public to use.

The games that are put on the app store for anyone to download are protected and safe. If there are games inappropriate for younger children there are restrictions that stop you from downloading the game because some have an age 16/18 limit on them unless they have been parent authorised.
