Your help is needed a lot!!!
This project aim is to attract Secondary 1 students to join Infocomm next year.
The project showcase what Infocomm members learnt throughout the year.
What will you get?
You will earn CIP hours for participating in this project.
You will gain more ICT knowledge through self directed learning
You can impress your peers using ur ICT skills
Get experience
Why is this important?
There are not many members in Infocomm and need more members to keep the CCA alive
Lack of manpower (professionals) during events, AVA duties, etc...
Help members earn more CIP point if they don't have enough
What do you need to do?Participants need to (Atleast 1) :Make a game using any software e.g.
Gamemaker (Make a video of the game you ceated) (Video resolution : 640 x 360)
Make an animation using any software e.g. Macromedia Flash (With music and atleast 1min long) (Resolution 640 x 360)
Photoshop 5 different photoes which are nice to see e.g. flowers, sky, environment
Make a program using any software language e.g. Javascript (Make a video of the program created) (Video resolution : 640 x 360)
How to get the softwares?
Download the free trial versions available online for Photoshop, Flash and Gamemaker
Extra : You may want to try using Unity instead of Gamemaker when making games, (some infocomm members find it a lot easier to use) Downloading is free

When should you do this?

How to communicate?
We will make a WhatsApp group to get in touch with one another.
We may implement more options for communication
All infocomm members are recommended to join the group even if they aren't a participating
How to send the file?Upload the file using
filedropper (Each file up to 5GB) (Copy the url and send to my email, [email protected])
The file must be compressed using Win7 or Winrar to upload all the files together
Any other uploader is fine as well
What should the file include?The file must include :
the number of hours used to finish the product (break time excluded)
your name and class (current and future)a picture of yourself (picture is optional
but recommended)Depending on which you did :
Video of the game or program codedAnimation videoRaw images and photoshoped image
(Specify the images used for the product)Actual product (Animation, game, etc...)

When must I hand in?
The due date is the end of year
CCA carnival will start a few weeks after the start of the year
If you need more time, let the main organiser know

The CIP hours will be given next year, 2015
Please do not hesitate to join or ask for help
Photoshop users need to send and specify the raw files used to make the new photo
