In-n-Out History• Harry and Esther Snyder started the first In-n-Out burger in Baldwin

park, 1948

• Only had 18 restaurants when Snyder died, turning the business over to his son, Rich Snyder.

• The company experienced rapid growth, and opened it’s first restaurant outside of California in 1992, with #92

• When Rich Snyder died in a plane crash, the subsequent owners to take over were his brother, his mother, and two original founders, keeping the company under original family management.
